The following are the terms to our agreements:
TERMS OF AGREEMENT
It is understood that this contract is binding on both parties. It cannot be altered or changed unless agreed to in writing by the said parities, contractor and client. Cancellation of the engagement by the Client must be made in writing and will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If cancellation is made within 14 days of the event date, the entire balance will be due. THE ENTIRE BALANCE MUST BE PAID WITH CASH OR CREDIT CARD (MC, VISA or AMEX) IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF THE PERFORMANCE ON THE STATED DATE. LATE FEE WILL BE APPLIED IF BALANCE IS NOT PAID BY DUE DATE.
Late Fee: $450.00
Responsibility and liability for any damage to or theft of contractor equipment and any injuries to any guests or contractor employees while on the premises prior to and during the course of this event that may occur as a result of any negligence or improper behavior shall be assumed by the herein named client, if caused by the client.
Any advertisement, promotion or publicity with Stephan’s name or picture or where magic or symbols are used or where magic is written, suggested or implied for the said event must be pre-approved in writing by Thornton Enterprises.
In the event of a dispute between the parties pursuant to the terms of this agreement the prevailing party shall be entitled to legal fees and expenses.
IMPORTANT ONE (1) DAY CLAUSE: This agreement shall be signed and returned with the deposit no later than One (1) calendar day after the agreement date. Failure to do so could result in loss of the engagement date.
